Jacobo Morales is a Puerto Rican actor, writer, producer, and director. Born on January 3, 1934, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he is considered one of the most important figures in Puerto Rican cinema and theater.

Morales began his career as a theater actor and director before transitioning to film. He has directed several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, including "Lo que le pasó a Santiago" (1989), "Angel" (2007), and "Santa Claus in commotion" (2004).
